Engagement with the Community

RISU Plastic Group actively participates in various events to enhance communication with the local community and consumers.

Factory Tours and Internships

We welcome students for factory tours and internships as part of their social science studies. We also participate in activities such as the TERAKOYA project in Kakamigahara City, where students participate in craft tours.

"TERAKOYA" refers to a school in the modern sense of the word. It got its name from the Edo period (1603-1867), when children gathered at temples to receive their studies.

Participation in Local Energy Efficiency and Environmental Promotion Activities

We actively participate in events that promote low-carbon and resource recycling in local communities, fostering communication with people we may not regularly meet.

This includes sponsoring the Gifu City CO2 Reduction Program and exhibiting at the Gifu City Eco Festival and the Konan City(Aichi Pref.) Environmental Festival, where we showcase recycled and bio-based products.

Sponsorship of FC GIFU

We have entered into a sponsorship agreement with FC GIFU, a professional soccer team in Gifu, to help promote sports in the local community.

Gifu Station Area Revitalization

Our headquarters, Dai Gifu Building, is located in front of Gifu Station. In 2005, we constructed the building as part of the city's first redevelopment project to revitalize the aging building and the central business district.

Gifu City installed a direct access deck from Gifu Station, creating a seamless passageway connecting people and the city. We also incorporated vertical green walls on the west side of the building, contributing to climate change mitigation and providing a relaxing space for people. In addition, we are supporting the lighting project around the station to further revitalize the area.

Participation in Rural Community Development

We participate in the restoration and revitalization project for fallow farmland in the Neogawa headwaters area organized by JA Gifu.

Through activities such as planting and harvesting, we not only promote the importance of agriculture and food, but also contribute to the revitalization of the local community.
