Engagement with the Community
Social Contributions
Community Engagement
RISU Plastic Group actively participates in a variety of events to strengthen relationships with local communities and consumers.
Factory Tours and Internships
RISU Plastic Group welcomes students for factory tours and internships as part of career education and community outreach programs.
We also participate in local initiatives such as Kakamigahara City’s TERAKOYA Project, which gives students opportunities to visit workplaces, learn about manufacturing, and experience hands-on activities.
“TERAKOYA” originally referred to community-based schools in Japan during the Edo period, when children gathered at temples to learn.
Local Energy Efficiency and Environmental Activities
RISU Plastic Group actively participates in local events that promote low-carbon practices and resource recycling, helping us connect with people in the communities we serve.
Our activities include sponsoring the Gifu City CO₂ Reduction Program and exhibiting recycled and bio-based products at events such as the Gifu City Eco Festival and the Konan City Environmental Festival in Aichi Prefecture.
Sponsorship of FC GIFU
RISU Plastic Group is proud to sponsor FC Gifu, a professional soccer club based in Gifu Prefecture, in support of sports and community development.

Gifu Station Area Revitalization
RISU Plastic Group’s headquarters, the Dai Gifu Building, is located directly in front of Gifu Station.
Completed in 2005, the building was part of Gifu City’s first redevelopment project, aimed at revitalizing aging properties and the city’s central business district.
A direct-access pedestrian deck connects Gifu Station with the building, creating a smoother flow between the station and the surrounding area. The building also features vertical greenery on its west side, helping to reduce heat buildup and provide a more comfortable environment for visitors and pedestrians.
RISU Plastic Group also supports lighting initiatives around Gifu Station as part of ongoing efforts to help revitalize the area.
Supporting Rural Community Development
RISU Plastic Group participates in a project organized by JA Gifu to restore and revitalize fallow farmland in the headwaters area of the Neo River.
Through activities such as planting and harvesting, we help promote the importance of agriculture and food while also contributing to the revitalization of local communities.
