The 3D processing has enabled us to achieve a curved shape while maintaining high strenghth, and the hollow structure has added a cushioning function, contributing to both high rigidity and shock absorption, which has been difficult to achieve with conventional protectors.
Chest contusions are the socond most common cause of fatal motorcycle accidents after head injuries. Helmets are the only mandatory safety equipment, and chest protectors seem to be used by only a small percentage of the total number of motorcyclists, but their importance is gradually becoming recognized among riders, including motorcycle police officers.
With this development, we hope to increase the adoption rate of protectors and contribute to rider safety.
