|1981||Launch of "Foldable Container" a distribution container that contributes to the reduction in CO2 emissions by rationalizing distribution (the group subsequently launched various other foldable containers).|
|1989||Discontinued the use of chlorofluorocarbons, which are used in the manufacture of PSP sheets and which cause considerable harm to the environment. Butane gas was adopted as a substitute (an industry first).|
|1990||A-PET resin completely substituted for vinyl chloride resin in the manufacture of containers as part of an effort to reduce harm from resinification (an industry first).|
|Launch of container products made from low energy consumption PP filler.|
|1991||Start of development and research into environmentally friendly materials.|
Plant for recycling PSP trays established, self-led PSP tray collections started.
Launch of "Plastic Pallet" which, uses recycled materials.
Launch of household product range titled "Earth Conscious" made from recycled plastic from trays collected through Risu Pack (the group subsequently started using recycled materials for household products).
