TECCELL is a lightweight and strong material with a honeycomb core structure, developed after establishing the world’s first technology to continuously form a honeycomb structure using thermoplastic resin.
In the past, materials with a honeycomb structure were only used in cutting-edge industries owing to their difficulty to produce. However, with the advent of TECCELL, such a material now has all kinds of applications, and it contributes to weight reduction and energy saving in all kinds of products.
These lightweight pallets increase fuel efficiency during the transportation of goods contributing to energy saving, resource saving, and CO2 emissions reduction.
Using our special molding technology, which is capable of simultaneously forming two materials with different characteristics, we developed a pallet with 25% less weight (Risu comparison) while retaining the necessary strength.
Risu Box is a hygienic plastic container that offers superior durability, shock resistance, and weather resistance compared to cardboard. It is ideal for use as a returnable box, and so it contributes to resource saving.
Developed using our unique molding and special forming technologies, Risu Box can be folded down into a much smaller size. In this way, the product helps save space (and thus reduce costs), and keeps down carbon dioxide emissions during transportation.
A-PET resin produces small CO2 emissions.
For example, the amount of CO2 produced when burning this plastic is approximately 32% less compared to polystyrene. This environmentally friendly material was put to use as a food container in Risu Pack (1999; an industry first). Using the know-how and technology we have accumulated over the years, we are now working to decrease the thickness of the material and thereby further contribute to carbon dioxide emissions reduction.
We have set up greenification systems on the roof and west wall, and installed a 10kW solar energy system on the roof, as part of an effort to offset the energy used in lighting and air conditioning. In this way, we are working to save energy and prevent global warming (through CO2 emissions reduction).
